COTA Rant

I’m gonna be honest. First Road Course of the year. I’m somewhat thrown off. I almost thought to skip this week, but persistence got the better of me. Took me longer than I wanted to but I came up with something to rant about from this weekend.

Z-Kid won Xfinity Awesome, Bell won in Cup (Had my money in SVG but he’ll figure it out I’m sure)

Now we all know there’s more to life than Stock Car Racing. I just so happen to be a Wrasslin Fan. Saturday after the Xfinity Race something happened. It was a PPV held in Toronto, Canada called: Elimination Chamber.

In the Main Event segment of the evening. John Cena has been a “Babyface” (Good Guy) since his debut in 2002, and he did the unthinkable: He turned “Heel” (Bad Guy) and WWE is about to make monumental business based on that fact alone. We’re talking Wrestlemania 3 and Andre vs Hogan value in my dumb opinion.

The Point is Sports (and Entertainment) are better off with Babyfaces and Heels. Even in a Sponsor Draw Environment. So why isn’t NASCAR branding a bad boy lineup of Carson Hocevar, Ross Chastain, Austin Dillon, Kyle Busch, etc?? If you give us heels to boo against we’ll make Baby Faces to cheer for That Noah Gragson has charisma that’s for sure. I’m sure you’ll want us to boo on Denny Hamlin. Good Luck with that. You give the TV audience something to root for, You give the Fanbase something to hold within their hearts, and especially: You have the potential to draw more money! I thought that was the idea in the first place, but what do I know? I’m just a drunken Fan with an ability to rant.
