Welp Another weekend of NASCAR Racing this time in the Gateway of St. Louis (But really in Illinois)
Z-Man is on a historic run in the Xfinity Series for sure this year!! Saw most of the race via Twitter but I’m excited to see this really awesome awe inspiring run.
Now let’s talk about Cup. I’m gonna be 100% honest The Race was on (and here comes pride up the backstretch) my laptop, BUT about the same time Denver was hosting the Tennessee Titans also Green Bay was hosting Divisional Rival Detroit. Both Games were accessible via Rabbit ears and didn’t need a Cable outlet or a Streaming Service. Funny how that works right?? I’m willing to wager that more people watched either game than watched Your race on Checks Notes the USA Network. They lost Raw this year which was a BIG money maker to them. Just a random fact I’m aware of.
I’m also aware that yesterday September 7 was an important Day for Denny Hamlin and Joe Gibbs Racing!! 200 Wins with Toyota is a really good stat!!

But I sincerely hope its an early Christmas Present for 23XI and Front Row Motorsports . . .why did I include them there?? Well this might be a shocker but Football is going on right now. Yet you decided to hold a Race in the East Tennessee Mountains on the SAME DAY as the University of Tennessee Volunteers (CHEER YAY POSITIVE NOISES) takes on a team that has won 2 of the last 4 National Championships The Georgia Bulldogs (Inane Barking/BOOO/HISS)
Now for those that don’t know this is what we in the Football world would call a “Happening” a “To Do” Something that will certainly cause a “Ruckus” all over Eastern Tennessee. Hell ESPN is showing up about it and causing a bit of a stir. That from what I understand is quite a big deal!! Say remember when NASCAR was on ESPN?? I rememba (Do you remember the time??)
You better hope you get a contingent of Alabama Fans who are lucky to have the week of from their current misery. I mean it’s not like they have a scheduling conflict of their own. The next Race in Alabama is the weekend of October 17-19, and Tennessee travels to Tuscaloosa, Alabama for the annual Rivalry Game on October 18th. . .oops. Gee it’s like you don’t think of yourselves as competition to Football in anyway you just want their money and their fake playoff system. That’s just strange!! Why not do something more original??
